Gerätehaus der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Birkenfeld

Die Gesamtwehr der Freiwilligen Feuerwehr Birkenfeld besteht seit dem Jahr 1858 und ist aufgeteilt in die Abteilungen Birkenfeld und Gräfenhausen. Primäre Aufgabe ist die Unterstützung der Berufsfeuerwehr Pforzheim in der Gemeinde Birkenfeld. Stand April 2008 befinden sich sieben Fahrzeuge im Einsatz.

Abteilungen

  • Gesamtwehr
In der Regel gibt es jeden 1. oder 2. Montagabend im Monat ab 19.30 die Monatsübungen.
  • Ortsabteilung Birkenfeld
In der Regel gibt es jeden 1. oder 2. Montagabend im Monat ab 19.30 die Monatsübungen.
  • Ortsabteilung Gräfenhausen
In der Regel gibt es jeden 1. oder 2. Montagabend im Monat ab 19.30 die Monatsübungen.
  • MV Feuerwehrkapelle
  • Jugendfeuerwehr
Die Jugend trifft sich in der Regel jeden Mittwochabend von 18:00 bis 20:00 Uhr.

Größere Einsätze

  • 8. Juli 2006: Tödlicher Verkehrsunfall auf der Landesstraße 565. [1]
  • 5. August 2006: Gebäudevollbrand mit 21 Einsatzkräften und über 7 Stunden Einsatzdauer.[2][3]
  • 18. Januar 2007: Orkantief Kyrill mit 9 Einsätzen und 29 Einsatzkräften.
  • 9. März 2007 Kellerbrand mit 26 Einsatzkräften.
  • 2. Dezember 2007: Großbrand Aussiedlerbauernhof mit über 13 Stunden Einsatzdauer.[4][5]
