Juni 1994 ebenda) war Schmuckfabrikant und Präsident der [[IHK Nordschwarzwald|Industrie- und Handelskammer Pforzheim]].<br /> <br /> == Leben ==<br /> Er absolvierte ein Physikstudium und die Abschlussprüfung für Zeitmesskunde und Uhrentechnik in Stuttgart. 1959 trat er in die Uhrenfabrik des Vaters Philipp Weber ein, deren Geschäftsleitung er 1962 nach dem Tod des Vaters übernahm. 1963 erwarb er die Uhrengehäusefabrik Friedrich Pfisterer, 1967 den Gebäudekomplex in der Durlacher Straße 35 (Arctos-Haus). 1971 stellte er die erste deutsche Quarzarmbanduhr herr. Am 1. April 1968 wurde er in die Vollversammlung der IHK gewählt, im Juni 1985 zum Präsidenten der IHK.
