Juli 1924 in [[Pforzheim]]; † 1969) war Klassischer Archäologe.<br /> <br /> == Leben ==<br /> Heinrich Bartels studierte ab 1945 Chemie an der Berliner Universität. 1948 wechselte er zur Klassischen Archäologie und Alten Geschichte an die Freie Universität Berlin. 1959/60 wurde er mit einer Arbeit zum Thema &quot;Studien zum Frauenporträt der augusteischen Zeit. Fulvia, Octavia, Livia, Julia&quot; an der Freien Universität Berlin promoviert.<br /> <br /> Anschließend arbeitete Heinrich Bartels als Archäologe längere Zeit in Olympia. Er leistete bedeutende Vorarbeiten bei der Erforschung Olympias und bereitete eine große Olympia-Ausstellung in München vor.
